About the Job
Operations: Houston, TX
Job Purpose
Provide engineering design for green field and brown field plants. Also provide discipline-specific services for the plant, working closely with other departments to define the scope and deliverables.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Project Engineer responsible for day to day Engineering activities at site
- Evaluate and Estimate minor and major modification project hours
- Project Management, Engineering Design
- Developing, Maintaining and monitoring project plans and schedules.
- Coordination and follow up of project tasks and actions
- Communicating with clients, internal engineering team to identify and define project requirements
- Site visits to get necessary information to complete the projects
- Coordinating with the team to ensure they understand the site data and client requirements.
- Work with external vendors to get necessary information for the projects
- Review, modify, and approve drawings and 3D designs in conjunction with design engineers.
- Participate in Internal and External meetings
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Bacherlor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university
- Computer use and applications
- Project estimating and scheduling
- Drafting/design techniques
- Effective oral and written communication
Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Proficiency in several Plant Engineering activities
